My EP is finished!

Hi guys! Long time, no news. Well this post is to announce that i recently finished recording my new EP. i will announce the release date here soon. it's not over tho! i have to keep writing for another project so no break for me. Also, we're trying to get a veeery special feature on one of the songs on my EP so hopefully, everything works out with that. The process of promoting the EP will begin after we've picked out the songs that make the cut & what the title of the EP's gonna be. i'm pretty excited! lol.

A few of my friends have been wanting Da Camp & i to work together. Well, looks like it's happening! :) More news on that later tho. in the meantime, check them out. Great music!

New on SoundCloud!

Hi guys! As some of you already know from twitter and facebook, i am now on SoundCloud. i probably should've announced it here first but, well, yeah. lol. So from now, i'll be posting soundcloud links instead of limelinx so that you guys can hear my songs on your phone right away instead of having to look for a computer. Unless i release a whole EP or LP, then...well, we'll see. But in the meantime, enjoy soundcloud! :)

Sick but wanted...

Hola ppl! Hope all is well.

Well this blog isn't much but i just wanted to keep u guys up to date a little bit.
Last week, i spent a few days in Tallahassee & had a good time but the 2nd day there, i got myself a scratchy throat that turned into a cold. Now i sound like i stuffed a teddy bear up each nostril. The good news is tho, that it didn't stop Baby Blue (of Pretty Ricky) from wanting me to work with them again. When he was told about my cold, he said to bring some Vicks because he still wanted to try something out. lol. What i had to do wasn't much but it came out pretty well. i'm glad (& i hope) that i didn't sound too nasal.
i can't wait til u guys can hear what i've been working on with them & on my own as well. i just have to finish a few more songs to finish my project & start putting them out. Hopefully, reading my blog builds up some kind of suspense & excitement. Cause, well, i'm excited. A lot. :) Thanks for reading & stay tuned!

Pretty Ricky Ricky Rickaaay!

How cheesy is that title tho? lol. Well i didn't know what to call it so...there u have it.

Yesterday, not only did i get to meet Pretty Ricky but i also got to work with them! They were interested in having me as a feature on a song so we met up with them last night at their studio. CP Hollywood was there helping me figure out exactly what i was gonna be doing. i gotta say honestly that i've kinda lost track of Pretty Ricky since they got a new singer in the group. He can saaang! His runs were so good! i'm not even gonna try to compare him to Pleasure P because i've never heard him practicing runs in a studio but i was impressed.

i did some background vocals on one track & just when i was thinking "that's it?" i found out i was doing a hook for them on another song, lol. So we listened to a few of CP Hollywood's beats and when Baby Blue found the one he liked, he played it a couple times & just...started humming & coming up with words.

Their studio was pretty nice! i had fun..as usual :)

Some news to share...

So many things to say but so little to put out! lol. But since it's been a while since i posted something, here's the little i can tell right now.

I met CP Hollywood today! Well, yesterday. I don't know if u guys are familiar with him but he's a major producer for Slip N' Slide records who's worked with a lot of artists from Miami and outside as well. Funny thing is we were talking in the studio and he asked me if i was interested in doing some reference tracks for him (which i'm kinda happy about) and i didn't know it was him until he left. i had never met him before or seen him, only heard his name so...yeah.

Recently i found out that my dear friend, Caleb (@_YUNG_) and DJ Tarique (@djtariquesb) will be working on my "project" and one of the names that was being thrown at me was Betty Wright! ^_^ i mean...do i have to say how happy and grateful i am? lol. Stay tuned!
